I write to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Mazu Culture Association Inc Melbourne, Australia, and President Lin Yihan on the successful hosting of the 2025 Mazu Culture Festival, celebrating the 1065th anniversary of the birth of Mazu at the Heavenly Queen Temple Footscray.

The vibrant performances, especially the traditional Mazu processions, highlighted the rich tapestry of Chinese culture. With over 400 community members attending, this year’s Mazu Culture Festival once again played an important role in promoting multicultural understanding and preserving the invaluable traditions that enrich the state of Victoria.

I would like to acknowledge the hard work of all organisers, volunteers, and participants who contributed to the festival's success. Your efforts in honouring Mazu were a remarkable tribute to cultural heritage and community spirit.

I understand the Mazu's presence has been a source of comfort and inspiration to communities across Victoria for over 165 years. Her spirit of compassion, protection, and benevolence continues to bring communities together and strengthen the bonds within our diverse communities.

Once again, congratulations on hosting this outstanding event. I look forward to supporting and participating in future events.
