2018年9月2日，墨尔本天后宫与澳大利亚妈祖文化协会为了传承和弘扬妈祖文化和中国艺术文化，联合创办了免费妈祖公益中国画培训班。这一年来，在岭南派画家何锦钊老师的关心帮助下，在邓少农老师的悉心指导下，十几位学生踊跃作画，并且一直持续不断执着与努力地学习。学生们创作绘画了许多赏心悦目的国画作品，本次画展将展出他们其中的80幅作品。

Since September 2018, Melbourne Heavenly Queen Temple and Mazu Culture Association have been running a Chinese traditional painting art class two days a week. With the great help of lingnan painter He Jinzhao and under the careful guidance of Teacher Deng Shaonong, more than ten students enthusiastically painted and have continued to persevere and persist over the year. Students have created/painted many beautiful and eye-pleasing Chinese traditional paints, of which 80 works will display in the exhibition.
